About the Nature Photography Photo Walk
The day was dedicated to capturing the tiny creatures, plants, and flowers in the biodiversity park.
DCP mentors—Yogesh Chavan and Pankaj Narshana along with Stellar’s Product Specialist accompanied the participants. It was 8:00 AM in the rainy morning when the photo walk started. Light drizzle added to the beauty of nature, and it turned out to be the best time for a nature photography photo walk. The rain opened a discussion on protecting the camera from rain and sun, and to leverage rain droplets while shooting. The mentors witnessed the use of rain sleeves, umbrella, and other preventive methods to protect the camera from rainwater while being outdoors and to shoot.
Next was the most exciting part of the photo walk. The mentors started prying the clickable moments and locations out of the park. As soon as they found any, they shared the tips and tricks to capture those. Under their guidance, the participants clicked some beautiful pictures of creatures like the Bluebee, the Yellow Waxtail Damselfly, the Common Crow, dark Small-branded Swift, and so on. They also captured some flowers including the Tarpeta Flower. As it had rained, the tiny creatures were more active, and there were droplets of water that seemed to be floating on the leaves and flowers. This enhanced the beauty of the pictures taken during the photo walk.
In addition to the nature photography tips, the mentors talked about the use of camera features viz zoom-in, zoom-out, camera gears like add-on lenses, and the importance of clicking pics from different angles while shooting.
Our Product Specialist, who was present at the Photo Walk spoke about the risks of data loss from the camera. The Specialist educated the participants about preventive measures that should be taken to avoid data loss. She introduced all the editions of Stellar Photo Recovery software, which could recover their deleted or lost photo and video files. She informed the participants that they could alternatively choose Stellar’s Professional Data Recovery Services to recover their lost photos and videos.
The DCP Photo Walk concluded with Stellar presenting the participants with a one-month free license of Stellar Photo Recovery Premium, which not only recovers the lost or deleted photos and videos but also repairs the corrupt ones.
