THE CLIENT WAS UNABLE TO ACCESS THE RAID 5 DATA

The hospital was unable to access the important hospital data stored on RAID 5 configured server. With the drive capacity of 4TB, the client stored important hospital documents such as patients copies, MS-Office documents, PDF files, photos, videos, emails, tally, backup and so on and so forth.
The patient’s confidential data was at risk as well as the reputation of the hospital. It posed a serious threat which needed to be resolved at the earliest. Moreover, as the client was unable to access the RAID 5 configured server, everything came to a halt.

THE CLIENT’S APPROACH TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM

As the emphasis was to access the data stored on RAID 5 configured server, that too without risking the confidentiality of the data, the client extensively searched for a reliable data recovery services which would recover all the important data.
The client approached Stellar Data Recovery Center – Hyderabad and expressed his concerns. Further, the client stated that the hard drive contains all the critical information and that the privacy of the data is also the main concern.
The representative at the Stellar Data Recovery Service center assured the client that our Data Recovery Services abide by data integrity and data privacy and recovers data without risking the confidentiality of the data. Furthermore, the representative requested the client to submit the affected hard drive so that the data specialist team could analyse it.

STELLAR STEPS IN TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE

After the client submitted the affected hard drive, the data recovery team examined the affected RAID 5 media and found a lot of bad sectors on it. Also, the RAID 5 configured media was quite slow and also noticed some odd sounds.
To recover data from the affected hard drive, the data recovery team created images of all the four (each 1TB) individual source media by filling the new destination drives with zero using Stellar’s inbuilt special software tools. During the imaging process, the team found a lot of bad sectors and skipped all those sectors by using specialized imaging tools and cloned all the four drives.
The data recovery team analyzed the disk order, stripe size and parity distribution and rebuild the RAID 5 configuration. Finally, the Stellar Data recovery team recovered all the critical data. Then the representative informed the client about the successful recovery of data and requested to collect the same.
