We follow a simple 4 step process to recover your valuable data:
Data Recovery Service Process:
Data Recovery Process at Stellar has been developed as per ISO norms. We follow strict guidelines that ensure confidentiality and data security every time.
- Free Consultation: Free consultation on your crashed media for data recovery aspect.
- Analysis: Once we receive crashed media and “signed service agreement* from the client, thorough analysis of crashed media is performed to decide on type of crash (logical, logical cum physical, physical) so that the most appropriate data recovery approach can be followed. Time required for recovery is calculated based on the type of crash and client’s requirements of data. Percentile of possibility of recoverable data is calculated based on verification of sample data and / or chances of accessibility of crashed media.
Detail Diagnosis report along with quotes, time period required for recovery and percentile of possibility of recoverable data is submitted to client for approval.
- Data Recovery: Data Recovery starts upon receipt of written confirmation from the client on initial diagnosis (assessment) report and quotation. Confirmation may be sent by email, purchase order/work order. The written confirmation clearly states that client is agreed on the service agreement terms i.e. Percentage of Data Recovery, requisite time frame, cost and payment mode.
The data is recovered by following the Data Recovery, Security & Safety guidelines, which is developed by Stellar as per ISO Norms. Once the data recovery is completed, directory listings in a text file (or as requested by the client) is sent to the client for his verification and approval. Alternatively client can visit Stellar office for data verification.
- Data Delivery: Upon the receipt of approval from the client for the recovered data listing/ signing the data verification from at Stellar office, data is handed over to the client.
*Data delivery is subject to agreed terms of payment.
Upon realization of data recovery charges (and other charges if any), Stellar wipes the data beyond recovery within 7 working days.
*Any device, media and/ or data unclaimed or left with Stellar with or without full payment after 60 days from the date of signing MAF will be disposed at discretion of Stellar and would release Stellar from any obligation of confidentiality related to the device, media and/ or data and customers ceases the right of ownership to that media.
